YSRCP Flexi Controversy: In a bizarre incident, three children in Palnadu district have been detained by the police in police station for having torn YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) flexes on the road! The alleged detainment of three children in a police station in the Palanadu district for tearing the YSRCP party flexes has come under intense controversy.
Jana Sena Party (JSP) president Pawan Kalyan has responded to the incident and said that the YSRCP government is not sparing the children. “YSRCP govt. is not even sparing kids, Sad.” Pawan Kalyan tweeted.
However, speaking to the media on the incident, the DSP revealed that the children were brought along with the parents as part of counselling for tearing the Flexi related to the Iftar Dinner. He said it is the responsibility of the police to provide counselling on such sensitive issues.
Pawan Kalyan has joined the opposition parties in criticising the YSRCP government’s high-handedness over the detention of three school kids in Palnadu over the charge of tearing down posters put up by the cadre of the ruling party. Flexes belonging to the YSRCP were torn apart by the kids. The police jumped into action immediately, picked them, and put them up in a police station for several hours. The news has been reported by a section of the national media as well.
Meanwhile, the JSP chief has criticised Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government’s policy of collecting ‘Neeti thiruva’ at a time when farmers are in dire straits due to low agricultural output. Pawan asked if the ‘CBI Datta Putrudu’ is governing the State or carrying out loan business.
