Kamal Haasan missed out on hosting Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5 weekend episodes as he was tested positive for coronavirus. He was in isolation at Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre in Chennai for the past two weeks after testing positive for Covid-19. Now, the actor is back to the sets.
Kamal Haasan was discharged from the hospital on December 4 and he was back to work. He hosted the Saturday episode of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5. Vijay Television shared the video clip and in the background, Kamal Haasan could be heard saying,”I am standing here because of your love. I am always yours. Based on my observation, I can see the contestants of this season playing their individual games. They all have their own strategies. We will see its repercussions in tonight’s episode.”
Kamal Haasan tested positive for COVID-19 on November 22 and he was immediately admitted to a private hospital in Chennai. According to the reports, he contracted the virus when when he went to the US to launch his clothing line, Kamal Haasan’s House of Khaddar.
A few days ago, Kamal launched his clothing line, KH House of Khaddar, in collaboration with costume designer Amritha Ram. The main aim behind launching KH House of Khaddar is to create a brand that promotes khadi as a textile.
Kamal Haasan, in a statement, said, “Chicago is a special city with a rich history. The desi culture here speaks for itself. We needed the right city to showcase our brand. The population here understands both fragrance and clothing more than anywhere else in North America.”
In the place of Kamal Haasan, Ramya Krishnan acted as the host and she won the hearts of the audience with her strong hosting skills.
