Most of the people use WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook services and from the last few minutes, all these apps are down for many users. Several users have taken to Twitter and are sharing their tweets regarding the outage on these platforms. For quite some time, all the three services were showing an error that is refreshing. WhatsApp users are unable to send the messages and are also not receiving the messages while Instagram shows “couldn’t refresh the feed.” In the same way, the Facebook page is taking a lot of time to load.
According to the Downdetector data, WhatsApp users are facing problems in the app as well as sending messages and the Downdetector website shows almost 9,000 crash reports for WhatsApp.
Now, coming to Instagram, Downdetector shows that there are nearly 8,000 users who reported crash reports on photo-sharing platform. The issue is said to be around server connection. Similarly, the Facebook service outage crash has been reported by nearly 4,000 people on Downdetector. The problem seems to be around the DNS server down. In India there are more than 410 million users for Facebook and WhatsApp messenger has more than 530 million users. Instagram has over 210 million users in India.
