Sensational filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas is currently working on two projects. One of them is his next directorial, featuring Superstar Mahesh Babu. Another film is Bheemla Nayak, featuring Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati in the lead roles. However, Trivikram is just a writer for this film. Bheemla Nayak is the official remake of the Malayalam hit film Ayyappanum Koshiyum. The talk of the town is Trivikram’s changes to the script that could kill the original soul of the movie.

Bheemla Nayak
Ayyappanum Koshiyum is a game of ego between the lead actors. Both the characters are showcased equally without elevating anyone’s image. However, Trivikram reportedly made three big changes to the film and they are not in the original.
Trivikram increased the character of Pawan Kalyan, originally played by Biju Menon. The writer also toned down the character of Rana Daggubati, originally played by Prithviraj Sukumaran. Trivikram also added sublayers to both the characters and added subplots as well. The original’s intention was to show both the actors equal but Trivikram changed it.

We also heard that the writer has added a special comedy track, featuring Brahmanandam in the lead role. There are no such tracks in the original. Nithya Menen plays Pawan’s wife in the film and there is a duet song featuring them in the Telugu version which is not present in the original.
Going by the changes, it appears like the makers somewhere moved a bit away from the original soul. We have to see if the Telugu audience accepts this film.
