Star heroine Tamannaah Bhatia made her television debut with Master Chef Telugu season 1. This cooking-reality show was premiered in August and received a good response from the audiences due to Tamannaah’s screen presence.
However, the 100% Love actress opted out of the show all of a sudden and she has been replaced by star anchor Anasuya Bharadwaj. Now, Tamannaah filed a legal case against the showrunners for unprofessional behavior.
“Due to the non-payment of dues on MasterChef Telugu and unprofessional conduct by the production house Innovative Film Academy, Tamannaah Bhatia is being forced to take legal action. Despite the continuous non-payment and unprofessional approach, she canceled other commitments and was determined to complete the entire project. However, since the production house has overnight stopped communication with her, she is now forced to consider filing a legal suit against them,” read the official statement issued by Tamannaah’s lawyer.
Tamannaah hosted 16 episodes of the show and she is replaced by Anasuya now, who will run the rest of the season. Until now, neither the show’s production house Innovative Film Academy nor the broadcaster Gemini TV has issued any response to Tamannaah’s legal move.
Master Chef Telugu features popular chefs Chalapathi Rao, Mahesh, and Sanjay Thumma as judges. The Tamil version of this show is being hosted by star actor Vijay Sethupathi.
