Queen Elizabeth II laid to rest alongside the remains of her father King George VI, her mother, also called Queen Elizabeth and the ashes of her younger sister Princess Margaret on September 19. Queen Elizabeth II died aged 96 on September 8 at her Scottish summer home, Balmoral Castle.

Kate picked a four-strand pearl choker with an ornate center diamond clasp and a pair of pearl drop earrings from the late Queen’s collection.
Queen Elizabeth II wore the striking pearl choker for an event in Bangladesh in 1983. According to the reports, the pearl-drop earrings were a gift to the Queen for her wedding in 1947.
