Nandamuri Balakrishna’s comment on ANR was taken seriously by the Akkineni family and fans. Naga Chaitanya Akkineni, Akhil and many others took to their social media and commented that ANR was one of the most talented stars in the world of cinema and his contribution to the cinema has been incredible and further stated how could Balakrishna pass such comments.
For the uninitiated, Balakrishna during the success meet of Veera Simha Reddy, said, “My father Sr NTR had some contemporaries; aa Ranga Rao (referring to SV Ranga Rao), Akkineni, Thokkineni, and some others.”
After his comments, Akkineni’s family members and fans got upset and criticised Balakrishna for his remarks. Now, Balakrishna reacted to the controversy created over Akkineni Thokkineni’s comment and said, “Babbai (Akkineni Nageswar Rao) loved me more than his own kids. He was always more affectionate towards me and I have huge respect towards him and my words have been taken out of context.” He further added that he doesn’t care even if anyone makes his statements controversial statements. He said that his words were spoken in a flow of conversation and he doesn’t want to hurt anyone. After Balakrishna’s statements, many fans are saying that he is trying to act smart and are calling him fake.
