Samantha: Ever since she got separated from her husband Naga Chaitanya, Samantha is not able to make it to the headlines quite often. She is only being in the news for social media posts and pictures but there is no major update on her film career. It is heard that the actress is desperate to get some big offers in order to regain her lost glory.
When she was married, Samantha used to enjoy more stardom than Naga Chaitanya. But things have changed within days of her separation. She has announced two projects recently and those two films are relatively small flicks, considering the stardom of Samantha. In Telugu, her next release will be Shaakuntalam and apart from that, she hasn’t signed any big film yet.
On the flip side, Chaitanya scored a super hit recently with his latest flick Love Story. His market value has been increased and he has three projects in hand. Chay is also playing a key role in Bollywood star Aamir Khan’s upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha. His career has begun to shine for the last couple of months.
According to the sources, Samantha wants to prove that she can sustain her stardom without the support of the Akkineni family. Apparently, she is calling up big heroes and directors to give her the role of the female lead in their movies. It has to be seen if Sam gets that ‘one’ big offer anytime soon.
