RRR Vs YSRCP: The YSR Congress Party YSRCP rebel MP K Raghurama Krishanam Raju from Narasapuram is in news for various reasons. He has been outspoken critic of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and his government. He has dared and challenged the YSRCP to answer him or disqualify him from the party, but surprisingly Jagan never took any action against the rebellious MP!

The MP, whose relations with the YSRCP strained has always been in the eye of the storm for over two years now and interestingly he has got his way through the thick and thin of all the issues with the party. There were times when the YSRCP Ministers directly attacked him and asked him to quit the party.
A Minister questioned him, “Who is he (the MP) to tell the public that Vizag doesn’t need a capital? Even the TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu, who said the same could not step out of the Visakhapatnam airport. Now, if RRR doesn’t mend his ways, he is sure to earn the wrath of the people.” If the MP doesn’t like YSRCP’s policies, it is better he resigns from the MP’s post and step down from the party, the Minister suggested.
From the issue of temples to caste reservations to his own security, RRR has made it a point to make it into a bigger issue so that media covers the issue and makes it much bigger and problematic for Jagan. His lengthy press conferences have been the darling of media and everyone has been enjoying the tiff between YSRCP and RRR.
According to a political analyst in Vijayawada, “RRR has displayed much affinity towards BJP in general, and Modi in particular. Hence, his actions could be motivated with the objective of creating a favourable environment in the state for ‘right-wing politics,’ considering his nature and the developments over the past two months. It is unlikely that Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju is working at the provocation of TDP.”
He had recently announced that he will be resigning to the MP post and also to YSRCP. He is expected to wave goodbye to the Jagan-led party after February 5, in fact he has a challenged Jagan to disqualify him before the deadline or else he will quit. After this announcement, media is speculating about his next move.
While many are making guesses, it looks like RRR has thrown hints at what his next move would be like. During his interaction with press yesterday, when AP CID had visited his house in Hyderabad to serve notices to him, he said, “I am a fan of Pawan Kalyan. Ekkada neggaalo kaadu… ekkada thaggaalo kuda telusu.”
Isn’t this hint enough to make guesses that will turn true?
