Rana Daggubati: Tollywood hero, Rana Daggubati is enjoying the success of Bheemla Nayak which was released in the theaters on February 25. He acted as an antagonist in the film and won the hearts of the audiences with his stunning acting skills. Rana Daggubati is one of the heroes in the Telugu film industry who would never step back to act in the role with negative shades.
On the professional front, Rana Daggubati is waiting for the release of his upcoming movie, Virata Parvam. In an interview, Rana said that “People have been saying to me that I am working with Pawan Kalyan (Bheemla Nayak) and Lady Pawan Kalyan aka Sai Pallavi (Virata Parvam) back to back and that speaks for itself. Working with an immensely talented actor like Sai Pallavi is a rewarding experience. She is a gift to South Indian cinema.”
Sai Pallavi is one of the most talented stars in the South Indian film industry. She stepped into Tollywood with the movie, Fidaa and later acted in many movies. She created her mark and enjoys an immense fan following.
Coming to Virata Parvam, Venu Udugula, who is also a writer and poet is the director of the movie. He made his directorial debut with the 2018 social drama Needi Naadi Oke Katha.

Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi acted in the lead roles in the film. The period drama also features actors Priyamani, Nandita Das, Naveen Chandra and Eashwari Rao and others in important roles. The story of the movie is set against the backdrop of the Naxalite movement that took place in the 1990s in the Telugu- speaking states. Rana will be playing the role of revolutionary poet Aranya and will also be seen as a Naxalite, while Sai Pallavi will be seen as Vennela, a woman who falls in love with Aranya after reading his poetry.
Earlier, rumours broke out that the film will be released on OTT platforms but Rana in an interview said that the film is going to be released in theatres only.
