Ram Gopal Varma: Once upon a time, he was a celebrated director. He was considered one of the best filmmakers India has ever produced. He used to enjoy a massive following across the country. But this is the past. Now, he is making films just to mint some money. There is no passion whatsoever. People who loved his films are now fed up with his works. Yes, we are talking about Ram Gopal Varma.
His latest flick Konda proves the sad state of Varma. The trailer of Konda was released a couple of days ago. It is a film based on the life of popular politician Konda Murali. Though the trailer clocked more than 2 million views already, there are no takers for this movie.

According to the sources, buyers are not interested in getting the theatrical rights to this movie. Apparently, they are feeling that RGV’s movies have become monotonous now and people are not showing interest in coming to the theatres to watch them. He made many films based on the lives of political personalities in the recent past but none of them managed to strike a chord with the audiences. Thus, buyers are not showing interest in Konda.
This is indeed sad to see a talented filmmaker like RGV making sleazy and controversial content to make some money. People feel that his time is almost over and after a few years, everyone will ignore his works.
