Rajinikanth and Puneeth Rajkumar
Rajinikanth: It has been more than two weeks since Kannada star Puneeth Rajkumar passed away all of a sudden due to a massive cardiac arrest. It was a shocker for the entire film fraternity. Various film stars have attended Puneeth’s funeral and also visited his home days after his death. However, Superstar Rajinikanth took almost 15 days to share a post about Puneeth’s demise. This move has angered Puneeth’s fans who are criticizing Rajini for his late condolences.
Recently, Rajini shared a voice message on Hoote App, which is owned by his daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth. He paid his condolences to Puneeth’s family. Rajini has been actively promoting Hoote App through his other social media handles. He is only posting audio messages these days. Thus, Puneeth’s fans wondered if Rajini is paying condolences or promoting his daughter’s app.
They started criticizing him for his delayed response to Puneeth’s demise and for sharing his sympathies on Hoote App. Interestingly, even Rajini’s fans remained silent on the issue.
Rajini was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai a day before Puneeth’s death. He got discharged a couple of days later. Rajini took to social media to share his homecoming but didn’t get a chance to pay condolences to Puneeth’s family, alleged Puneeth’s fans. It has to be seen if Rajini or his fans respond to these trolls.
