Puneeth Rajkumar’s last film ‘James’
Puneeth Rajkumar’s last film: It has been more than four days since Puneeth Rajkumar passed away but the people of Karnataka are yet to recover from the shock. The 46-year-old actor had a sudden death due to a massive cardiac arrest. His final rites were held on Sunday. Puneeth had two projects in his lineup before his death, James and Dwaitha. While James is in the final stages of its shoot, Dwaitha is supposed to go on floors in December. Now, the latter cannot be considered as Puneeth’s film anymore and the former will be his last film. As per the reports, huge release plans are being made for James.
According to the sources, Puneeth was prepping up for the final schedule of James. All of a sudden, he is no more now. It is reported that though there is some part left to be shot, Puneeth had already wrapped up his entire action portions. The makers are tweaking the script a little bit and are giving it closure.
The team wants to release James across as many centers as possible because it is the last film of Puneeth. But dubbing his part will be a challenge for the makers. Thus, they came up with the idea of collaborating with a Mumbai-based studio to enhance Puneeth’s on-location dialogues so that they can be used directly in the film. The works are now heading in that direction.
James will have a wide release next year on Puneeth’s birthday. It is being directed by Chethan Kumar.
