Producers to approach Court: The Telugu film industry is getting back to the success form. The success of Akhanda boosted the confidence levels of all the producers in the movie industry. The makers of Pushpa and RRR are also hoping to release their films in theatres and taste big hits. Interestingly, the ticket price issue is growing big in Andhra Pradesh. The government decided to not hike the ticket prices. But, the latest we hear is that the producers are planning to approach High Court on the issue.

Producers to approach Court
There are reports that the top producers in the movie industry are planning to approach Courts regarding AP Ticket Prices. But, there is also an opinion that this move from the producers can lead to severe consequences as it may upset the government which can reintroduce 50% occupancy restrictions in the view of the Omicron variant of COVID-19.
Also, the government can go after theatres citing the parking regulations and Fire Safety Rules which aren’t followed by many Single screens. The buzz is that there are a lot of other options before the state to make the producers calm down but without making fruitful discussions with the government, the current move can only worsen the situation for the producers.
With multiple films releasing during Sankranthi, the producers are in a view to hiking the movie ticket prices at any cost. However, there is no clarity if the producers will stick to their plan.
More details are awaited.
