Pawan Kalyan: Power Star Pawan Kalyan has teamed up with director Krish Jagarlamudi for a period action drama titled Hari Hara Veera Mallu. Popular producer AM Ratnam is bankrolling the project. This movie had hit the floors almost two years ago but is yet to finish its shooting. The production works are being severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent lockdowns.
Meanwhile, it is now being heard that the film has run into financial troubles. Apparently, the producer has run into losses already after paying interest for months due to the lockdown. There are also speculations that Pawa Kalyan is not showing enough interest in this project.
While working for Hari Hara Veera Mallu, Pawan wrapped up the shoot of Vakeel Saab and Bhemla Nayak. Pawan knows the fact that HHVM is a period film and it takes a lot of time to be ready. Despite knowing that, Pawan reportedly did not give high priority to the film and the film ran into delays resulting in financial losses.
It is heard that the budget of the movie has already been increased up to Rs. 200 crores. Moreover, the makers are also not promoting it enough to generate a buzz. Thus, it became one of the least anticipated films in the lineup of Pawan Kalyan.
Thus, it is being heard that the makers are now a bit worried about the fate of this movie.
On top of that, the failure of Krish’s last film Konda Polam is also affecting Hari Hara Veera Mallu’s business. It has to be seen how the makers manage to cross all these hurdles.
Hari Hari Veera Mallu is being made as a pan-India film. Nidhhi Agerwal is playing the female lead in the movie.
