Tuck Jagadish is the second film of Nani that was released directly on an OTT platform. Shiva Nirvana is the film’s director. The film unit initially roped in Thaman S as the music director but in the later stage, the makers opted for Gopi Sunder to work on the film’s background score. It stirred a controversy back then but none revealed the reason behind this development. However, Thaman broke the silence on the same.
In a recent interview, Thaman has given clarity on the issue. The successful music composer revealed the actual reason behind his replacement for Tuck Jagadish. When the anchor asked Thaman if there was any film in his career where he was approached first and then it went to some other composer later. Thaman then revealed that it is Tuck Jagadish.
“I did the background score of the film initially for the film. I gave my best. Nani did not like the score and they wanted another person to do it,” said Thaman, adding, “I like Nani’s performance and I did my best for the film.”
