Sensational star Vijay Deverakonda is currently busy working on the prestigious film LIGER. The star aims to catch the attention of Bollywood with this project. Puri Jagannath is the film’s director. The movie marks his comeback to Bollywood and also marks the debut of Vijay in the Hindi industry. However, the industry reports say that the film is facing budget issues.
Puri Jagannath is producing the film under his home banner Puri Connects along with Charmmee Kaur. The duo has the backing of Karan Johar for a big release in North India. Mike Tyson is playing a very important role in the movie. With big names involved, there are high expectations on the film and the makers want to live up to the same.
As per the reports in the film circles, the film has gone over budget because of multiple reasons including the delays caused due to the pandemic. With Mike Tyson coming on board, the makers decided to shift the shoot to the USA. Since it is a very important project for Puri, Vijay, and others, the makers are heading for no compromise.
The film unit wants to wrap up the shoot soon and focus on the post-production works. There are good deals coming in for the non-theatrical rights already but the film unit is not ready to focus on the business yet.
