KTR: Looks like Telangana Rastra Samiti (TRS) working president and state IT and industries minister KT Rama Rao seems to continue with his attack on Union government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Though KCR had promises to launch attack, through media, on daily basis it seems KTR has owned those words and is implementing it with full sincerity.
On the second day of his attack against Union government and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), he warned them that TRS supremo K Chandrasekhar Rao of separate state movement is still intact and is back now. He questioned the attitude of opposition parties towards KCR and said that all these days, TRS chief was silent, but since things are moving out of hand in the state, especially with false propaganda and fake news, KCR himself has decided to handle them, he said.
KCR had called for state wide agitation by its leaders on November 12 demanding the Union government to procure paddy from Telangana. KTR wants to make this protest a success and wants the heat of the state be felt in Delhi! KTR has a laid route map for his party leaders to follow for November 12. He has suggested the local leaders in all the districts to seek the permission of district collectors and conduct dharnas “since local area constituencies’ quota MLC elections code is applicable.”
Apart from state wide protests, the TRS has called for a dharna at Dharna Chowk near Indira Park in Hyderabad to express their support and solidarity to farmers who are protesting in Delhi for almost a year. Even for this dharna, KTR is monitoring them guiding the leaders to maintain peace and conduct the protest.
Meanwhile, at a public meeting in Bibipet of Kamareddy district, KTR said that they had lost the patience against the opposition, who have been maligning TRS and making undue comments on the party leaders including KCR. “When asked to procure paddy, the Union government is avoiding Telangana, it is might we take up the matter seriously and make the Modi government understand the situation. As part of this, on November 12, state wide across all the assembly constituencies’ headquarters, a protest would be held by TRS leaders,” he added.
