Koffee with Karan: Koffee With Karan was the most popular talk show in the history of the Indian television arena. Hosted by Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar, this show had been an integral part of Indian pop culture for the last decade and a half.
Finally, it is officially announced that the show will never return. It had successful 6 seasons. The first season was premiered in 2004 and the last season was aired in 2019.
For the last few days, it is being heard that the show will return for its new season. It was also rumored that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will be the guests for the first episode.
Denying all the rumors, Karan Johar issued an official statement on social media. “Hello, Koffee with Karan has been a part of my life, and yours, for 6 seasons now. I’d like to think we’ve made an impact and even found our place in pop culture history. And so, it is with a heavy heart that I announce that Koffee with Karan will not be returning…” read the statement.
However, it is not an end. Karan has just played a prank here and then confirmed that the show is coming back, not on TV but on Disney+ Hotstar.
“Koffee with Karan will not be returning…on TV! Because every great story needs a good twist, I’m delighted to announce that Season 7 of Koffee With Karan will stream exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar!” revealed Karan.
Definitely, Koffee With Karan will remain one of the most entertaining shows in the history of Indian television.
Many stalwarts like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, and Katrina Kaif had participated in the show. SS Rajamouli, Rana Daggubati, and Prabhas are the three South Indian celebrities to grace this show.
