After Raanjhanaa and Shamitabh, Dhanush is all set to come up with his third straight release in Hindi, Atrangi Re. Directed by Aanand L Rai, this romantic drama features Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan in the other lead roles.
Dhanush Sara Ali Khan
This is the first time Dhanush collaborated with both Akshay and Sara. However, this is his second project with Rai, after Raanjhanaa.
The Asuran actor revealed that Sara often calls him the Thalaiva of the South but Dhanush doesn’t like it. “There is only one Thalaiva, and that is Mr Rajinikanth Sir. I have told her a million times to stop saying that and that Rajini fans won’t like it. But Sara being Sara, won’t listen,” said Dhanush in an interaction with the Deccan Chronicle.
Dhanush played the character named Vishu in the movie. He said that it was a tough task for him to get Vishu’s emotions right.

“It was a difficult preparation and was emotionally draining. But in the end, it was well worth it,” said the 38-year-old actor.
Atrangi Re will have a direct premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on December 24.
