South Indian heroine Keerthy Suresh is getting ready for the release of her upcoming movie, Dasara. In one of the interviews, she is all praises for Nayanthara for starting the trend of female centric projects. She further stated that it encouraged other women to take up more such projects.
In the interview, she said, “I think we have to give it to Nayanthara maam because she was the one who started that (shift). If I’m not wrong with a film called Maya, and then eventually it started changing. She did that and other people (females) have gotten the opportunity to do such films. It’s because of her a lot of women thought they could pull off something by themselves which is great.”
Keerthy Suresh on the last day of the shoot gifted 130 gold coins to the crew of Dasara. According to the sources, the gold coins were reportedly worth ₹70 lakh.
Dasara is a period action adventure film written and directed by debutant Srikanth Odela. It stars Nani and Keerthy Suresh. The film is set in the backdrop of Singareni coal mines near Godavarikhani of Telangana. The film has music composed by Santhosh Narayanan. Dasara is scheduled for a theatrical release on 30 March 2023.
