KCR vs Bandi: KCR gives tit-for-tat replies; Battle continues

Published by Sri Ram On November 8, 2021

The political battle between Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and state Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Bandi Sanjay Kumar takes an ugly turn with accusations and counter accusations against each other. After KCR’s media conference on Sunday, today afternoon Bandi spoke to press, later by evening KCR was ready for his second meet with media!
KCR vs Bandi
KCR seems to have not liked the way Bandi countered his statements and immediately called formedia conference to continue his battle against BJP and Bandi Sanjay. In his typical style KCR warned Bandi of dire consequences if he continued to spread fake news about TRS government and KCR. “If one criticises the Union government policies and question them, they are being branded by BJP machinery. The same thing is happening with me also. After I have questioned the centre about paddy procurement and fuel price rise, I have been branded as anti-national. Still further they are branding people who voice dissent as urban Naxalites. This is the way the BJP is ruling the country,” KCR said.

In a two hour long press conference, KCR said he would have these meetings on daily basis and said that he will not rest until the Union government answers his questions. “Bandi cannot escape from me by just levying allegations on me. I need explanations. I will not spare him for his fake news and false propaganda. He should learn to know the actual things and then make comments. Just because they have one seat in election it doesn’t mean that they can speak anything and everything,” the CM observed.

KCR challenged Bandi to get his Union government to procure paddy from Telangana. Expressing his anger over the statement from the BJP leader that Telangana cultivated 62 lakh acres of paddy, the state CM said “I will have six helicopters in place for Bandi to go around and see if Telangana has not cultivated 62 lakh acres. Let him go around and know the facts.” In protest against the centre for not procuring paddy, KCR called for state-wide protest on November 11.
