With Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) showing considerable progress, Telangana Rastra Samiti (TRS) president and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to take up districts tour from December 23. The sole purpose of the tour is to prepare a roadmap for 2023 Assembly elections, said the party sources and added that KCR’s tour will bring new enthusiasm among the cadre and will be gearing up for the next elections!

KCR Tour
Earlier, the TRS supremo had planned to start his districts tour from December 19, but has postponed it to December 23 since the party is organising state-wide agitations in protest against the BJP-led Union government’s in differential attitude towards Telangana with regards to paddy procurement.
The CM is expected to visit Wanaparthy on December 23 and Jangaon on December 24. However, an official announcement of KCR’s revised tour programme is yet to be finalised. He has announced that the TRS will continue its fight against the Union government on the issue of paddy procurement. The party has already organised two state-wide agitation programmes on this issue in November to step up pressure on the Centre to procure paddy from Telangana state.
KCR’s district visit is expected to begin in Wanaparthy either on December 23 or shortly after Christmas, where he will inaugurate the new integrated district collectorate building, lay the foundation stone for a medical college, and open the TRS party office. He will also discuss the state of different welfare and irrigation initiatives in each district with the district administration.
