With the 8 IPL teams officially confirming their retentions ahead of the mega auction next year, there is a huge buzz around the remaining players fitting into other teams. There are too many star players who will be coming into the auction and it is interesting to see the teams spending their purses. There are reports that Rashid Khan, KL Rahul, Chahal & Warner might not make it to the auctions. Before that, the teams might grab them. New franchise Lucknow is planning to get Rahul and make him the captain of their franchise.
Chennai Super Kings released Suresh Raina for IPL 2022. Rajasthan Royals set to release Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer. KL Rahul, Ravi Bishnoi, Shahrukh Khan, Nicholas Pooran were released by Punjab Kings. Krunal Pandya, Hardik Pandya, and Ishaan Kishan are also released by Mumbai Indians.
