IPL 2022: Surya Kumar Yadav is one of the brightest young cricketers in Indian Cricket right now. His phenomenal record in IPL for the last few years has earned him a berth in the national squad. However, it is now being heard that Mumbai Indians is all set to leave Yadav ahead of IPL 2022.

According to the sources, Mumbai Indians’ management is planning to retain only Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah for the upcoming seasons. They are also holding talks with Kieron Pollard but nothing has been confirmed yet. Meanwhile, it is almost clear that they will not be retaining Yadav for sure.
Surya Kumar Yadav was exceptional for Mumbai Indians in the last four seasons. He has scored more than 300 runs for the team in the last four editions. His addition in the playing XI added great strength to Mumbai’s middle-order. Now, it has to be seen which player will fill his void.
Meanwhile, it is also being heard that the two new franchises, Lucknow and Ahmedabad, are holding talks with Surya Kumar Yadav. He may opt for the team which gives him a better deal. If not, he will enter the mega auction. If he enters the auction, there is no doubt in saying that he will become one of the most expensive buys. All teams need to submit their retention list to the BCCI by November 30.
