Senior politician D Srinivas gets back to home turf! Today he is all set to get back into Congress after a brief outing with Telangana Rastra Samiti (TRS). The senior politician who was never comfortable in TRS was always looking for a chance to get back to home and finally he has decided that enough is enough and he has called it quits with TRS!

D Srinivas
Member of Upper House in Parliament, D Srinivas met All Indian Congress Committee (AICC) chief Sonia Gandhi yesterday for 45 minutes in Delhi and after that he has made it clear he will no more continue with TRS. Though he said it was a mere courtesy call and any decision about his future course of action would be taken only after discussing its pros and cons with his supporters back in Nizambad.
Ever since he fell out with TRS supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao a year after he was nominated to Rajya Sabha in 2015 on TRS ticket, he has been more or less on a sabbatical, not showing any interest in TRS affairs. After his son and Nizamabad MP D Arvind defeated KCR’s daughter Kavitha in 2019 elections, relations between Srinivas and TRS severed and the latter distanced himself from the party.
It is more or less confirmed that Srinvas will be joining back Congress today as the Congress Legislative Party leader Bhatti Vikramarka received a call from top leadership of Congress to visit Delhi today. Telanagan Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) chief is already in Delhi for Parliament winter sessions, so the formal announcement on this is just a moment away!
