Looking like Telangana’s flamboyant minister and Telangana Rastra Samiti (TRS) working president KT rama Rao has decided that the prestigious Huzurabad by-election in go in favour of their party, and this is the reason he seems to have made his plans to travel to Paris in France to attend an international conclave!
Though it is big opportunity for the state of Telangana to project itself as the best place for investing and brining in new companies, the party is facing a tough battle in the form of Huzurabad by-election. Many top leaders in the party are disappointed by KTR’s attitude and feel his presence at Huzurabad was needed during these crucial times.
“If not Huzurabad or Karimnagar, he should have monitored things from Hyderabad; it would have made lot of difference for the party. Yes, TRS will win, but it is important for a leader, who aspires to be the next Chief Minister, to be party of political developments, rather than trying to win the hearts of few foreigners,” said TRS leader from Hyderabad on a condition of anonymity.
A Telangana delegation headed by KTR met the top managements of several French business houses and explained the collaboration opportunities available in Telangana for the French small and medium enterprises. Addressing the food processing majors, he highlighted Telangana’s recent success in food grains, meat, milk and fish production. “These opened up several opportunities for food processing companies in Telangana,” he added.
KTR visited Station F, the world’s largest incubator campus located in Paris. Station F is a unique campus and community with 1,000 start-ups. Originally a railway depot, this facility has been remodelled to transform it into an incubator. He discussed about a potential collaboration with Telangana’s innovation ecosystem organisations like T-Hub, We-Hub, and T-Works.
The entire tour was a good opportunity to project the state to companies in France which are lloking at investing in India and expand their operations. One will get to know if these meetings get converted into investments for Telangana or will they remains as meagre photo-ops for KTR!
