Full List: IPL 2022 Retentions get declared

Finally, the suspense has ended. All the eight existing IPL teams have announced their retained players list officially just about a while ago. Most of the predictions turned out to be true and there are quite a few surprises as well.

Punjab Kings has retained the least no. of players (2) and has a huge purse remaining (Rs. 72 crores). Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Capitals retained four players each. While the first three teams are left with a purse amount of Rs. 48 crore each, Delhi has the least purse remaining among the eight teams (Rs. 47.5 crores).

Many star overseas players like David Warner, Jofra Archer, Rashid Khan, Ben Stokes and Kagiso Rabada were left by their teams. Indian stars like KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Shikhar Dhawan and Suresh Raina are left as well.

All the left out players either make a deal with any of the two new IPL teams (Lucknow and Ahmedabad) or enrol themselves on the mega auction.

Here is the list of retained players by every team:

Chennai Super Kings: Ravindra Jadeja (16 cr), MS Dhoni (12 cr), Moeen Ali (8 cr), Ruturaj Gaikwad (6 cr)

Kolkata Knight Riders: Andre Russell (12 cr), Varun Chakaravarthy (8 cr), Venkatesh Iyer (8 cr), Sunil Narine (6 cr)

Mumbai Indians: Rohit Sharma (16 cr), Jasprit Bumrah (12 cr), Surya Kumar Yadav (8 cr), Kieron Pollard (6 cr)

Royal Challengers Bangalore: Virat Kohli (15 cr), Glenn Maxwell (11 cr), Mohammed Siraj (7 cr)

Sunrisers Hyderabad: Kane Williamson (14 cr), Abdul Samad (4 cr), Umran Malik (4 cr)

Rajasthan Royals: Sanju Samson (14 cr), Jos Buttler (10 cr), Yashasvi Jaiswal (4 cr)

Punjab Kings: Mayank Agarwal (12 cr), Arshdeep Singh (4 cr)

Delhi Capitals: Rishab Pant (16 cr), Axar Patel (9 cr), Prithvi Shaw (7.5 cr), Anrich Nortje (6.5 cr)
