Kangana Ranaut is one of the persons who never steps back to raise her voice on various issues. She won as many as four National Awards for her performances in films like Tanu Weds Manu Returns and Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi.
Many times, her statements on social media are criticised. She shares her thoughts on Twitter and in 2021 her Twitter account was permanently stopped, after she posted a series of tweets violating the guidelines of the micro-blogging site. However, it has now been restored. Announcing her comeback, Kangana posted a tweet that read, “Hello everyone, it’s nice to be back here.”
After her Twitter account was suspended, Kangana Ranaut said, “Twitter has only proved my point that they’re Americans and by birth, a white person feels entitled to enslave a brown person, they want to tell you what to think, speak or do. I have many platforms I can use to raise my voice, including my own art in the form of cinema. But my heart goes out to the people of this nation who have been tortured, enslaved, and censored for thousands of years, and still, there is no end to the suffering.”
On the professional front, Kangana Ranaut will next be seen in Emergency, where she will essay the role of Indira Gandhi. Anupam Kher, Satish Kaushik, Shreyas Talpade, and Milind Soman will be seen in key roles. She will also be seen in Tejas and has financed Tiku Weds Sheru, featuring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur.
