Drushyam 2 trailer: After Narappa, Victory Venkatesh is having another direct OTT release this year, in the form of Drushyam 2. Directed by Jeethu Joseph, this movie is all set for the direct release on Amazon Prime Video. Drushyam 2 is a sequel to the 2014 film Drushyam and is a remake of the 2021 Malayalam movie Drishyam 2. The trailer of this flick is out now.
Going by the trailer, the movie seems to be revolving around the life of Rambabu and his family members and how they still face the scars of the murder they have done six years ago. The murder case gets reopened once again and Rambabu has to plan strong to save his family from becoming the culprits. The trailer is engaging and evokes interest among the audience.
It looks like a faithful remake of the original. Drishyam 2 got huge acclaim in Malayalam. People who haven’t watched the original version will have a lot of surprising twists and turns in the movie. Venkatesh looks apt in his role and so is Meena. Kruthika, Esther Anil, Nadhiya and Naresh reprised their roles from the first part.
Sampath Raj, Tanikella Bharani, and Jayakumar are the fresh additions for this second part. Anup Rubens has composed the music of this film. Suresh Productions, Rajkumar Theatres Pvt. Ltd and Max Movies have jointly bankrolled the project. Drushyam 2 will premiere on November 25.
