Director Shankar: Director Shankar is known for spending a huge budget on his films. We have seen him making some expensive scenes and songs in his previous films like Robot, Shivaji, I and 2.0. Now, Shankar is showing that taste to producer Dil Raju. Both of them have collaborated to make a film with Mega Power Star Ram Charan. Tentatively titled RC 15, this film was launched in September and the regular shooting has begun in October. If the latest grapevine is anything to go by, Shankar is planning to spend Rs. 70 crore for a 7-minute action sequence in the movie.
Apparently, this is a train fight that comes at a crucial juncture and is one of the major highlights of the movie. It is reported that Shankar has roped in KGF fame Anirbav to compose this action sequence. We also heard that a few other action choreographers will be signed up to work on this train fight scene. It looks like Shankar has decided not to compromise and is planning to shoot it in a lavish way.
The makers have successfully wrapped up the first schedule in the areas of Pune, Satara and Phalton areas of Maharashtra. The second schedule will begin very soon in Hyderabad.
RC 15 features Kiara Advani as the female lead. Srikanth, Anjali and Sunil are playing the other important roles in the movie. Touted to be a political action thriller, RC 15 is reportedly being made on a budget of Rs. 200 crores.
