Dil Raju: After scoring a super hit with Arjun Reddy’s remake of Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoor returns to the big screen with Jersey which is also a remake of Tollywood’s super-hit movie Jersey. If you have watched this movie, you don’t feel the story has changed one bit, at least as far as even one scene is concerned. Playing a talented but failed cricketer, a doting father, and a husband trying hard to save his marriage from falling apart, same as Nani in Telugu movies, Shahid also carries the film on his able shoulders.

However, in spite of such a good concept, Jersey was still unable to bag the good collections because of the KGF chapter 2 wave in Bollywood. As per a Box Office report also, Jersey collected just Rs 3.75 crore on its opening day and faced tough competition from KGF 2 which earned Rs 11.56 crore in the Hindi belt.
On the other hand, though the neutral critics are praising the movie, Tarun Adarsh who is called a paid critic by a few people is spreading too much negativity about the movie. Though the director Gautham who directed Telugu Jersey itself made Hindi Jersey as well, still Tarun Asrash is pointing out many negative points in the movie and was spreading a lot of negative publicity for the movie.

However, amidst these situations, we need to check whether Bollywood Jersey can re-create the magic of Nani’s Jersey in the Hindi belt or not.
Anyways, Dil Raju who pinned big hopes on success in Bollywood has tasted a dud in the most unfortunate manner.
