Pan-India films have become a norm these days and even the actors and directors are giving their best to bring a universal appeal to their films. In the process, the actors are dubbing their own voices for multiple languages. Heroes like Dulquer Salmaan, Karthi and Vishal dub their own voices in Telugu. Now, Jr NTR and Ram Charan have lent their own voices for RRR’s Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi versions. However, Allu Arjun feels the other way and his recent statements seem to have targeted Charan and NTR, opined a few internet folks.
Arjun was busy with the promotions of his latest flick Pushpa for the last few days. In a press meet, he was asked the reason behind not dubbing his own voice for other languages, whereas the other actors are doing it for their respective films.
Bunny said that he doesn’t have a ‘paithyam’ to dub his own voice in all the languages. “I feel that our diction and dialect will not sound native in other languages, no matter how much effort we put in. If I dub in Tamil or Hindi, my dialect will sound very different and alienated for the local audiences. Thus, we opted to go for local dubbing artists and tried not to spoil the essence of the movie,” stated the Happy actor.
His perspective is also right but a few netizens took it as an indirect attack on NTR and Charan. Bunny never took their names but the netizens felt that he hinted at RRR’s actors. Meanwhile, some others felt that it is not right to take a negative side of every aspect and leave it just as Allu Arjun’s perspective.
