One should never give up on their dreams no matter what the hardships one face in the process. Fast bowler Natarajan’s life is a prime example that teaches the same. Natarajan was a rookie bowler one and a half years ago. Now, he is one of the emerging talents of Indian cricket, who represented the country in all three cricket formats. In order to nurture future cricketers, Natarajan is setting up a cricket ground in his hometown.
Natarajan announced the news earlier today on social media. “Happy to Announce that am setting up a new cricket ground with all the facilities in my village, Will be named as NATARAJAN CRICKET GROUND(NCG). #DreamsDoComeTrue. Last year December I Made my debut for India, This year (December) am setting up a cricket ground. #ThankGod,” tweeted Natarajan on Wednesday.
This is an incredible gesture from the young cricketer. It is heartening to see him set up a ground that can mould many youngsters as cricketers and make them dream to become international cricketers by following in his footsteps.
Natarajan grabbed everyone’s attention with his stunning yorkers in IPL 2020. In the same year, he was picked up for India’s tour against Australia. Until now, Natarajan played one Test, two ODIs and four T20I games. He picked up 13 wickets in total, in his international career. He is aiming to make a comeback into the Indian squad soon.
