Actor Sumanth and his sister Supriya have attended a court hearing session the other day in Marcapur court. This hearing was regarding a cheque-bounce case filed by a financier named Karumanchi Srinivasa Rao.

If we get into the story, Sumanth acted in a film called Naruda Donoruda in 2016. Supriya was one of the producers of this film and Srinivasa Rao was one of the financiers. Rao stated that the cheque which was given to him was bounced.
He alleged that the producers have cheated him and filed a case against them. Both Sumanth and Supriya have attended the hearing. It is reported that the verdict is expected soon.
Naruda Donoruda was an official remake of the 2012 Hindi film Vicky Donor, directed by Shoojit Sircar. Ayushmann Khurrana and Yami Gautam played the lead roles in it.

Vicky Donor was a smashing hit at the box office. However, the remake version failed to recreate the magic and ended up as a disaster.
Currently, Sumanth is busy with the works of his upcoming film Malli Modalaindi.
