Chiru, Venky, Balayya, Nag: Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently busy working on a couple of interesting films. One of them is with Venky Kudumula that was announced recently. The project announcement has given a big surprise and shock to the personalities in the film industry. Chiranjeevi changed his game plan and started working with young directors. The actor seems to be trying for an image shift. Not just the actor, but the other senior heroes of Telugu are also following the same strategy.

Nandamuri Balakrishna is also currently working with young directors of the Telugu film industry. Balakrishna is having films with Anil Ravipudi and Gopichand Malineni. He also did not want to work with seniors like Boyapati Srinu, VV Vinayak, and others.
Venkatesh Daggubati is working with Anil Ravipudi and he is also planning to work with Tharun Bhasckar Dhassyam. Both are young directors.
Nagarjuna Akkineni is working with Kalyan Krishna and Praveen Sattaru. All these directors are young and not very successful.

All the four senior heroes are chasing these young filmmakers to bring out fresh subjects to the audience. However, well-established senior directors are chasing the senior heroes but they are in no mood to work with them.
Senior filmmakers are coming up with routine and outdated commercial scripts while the young directors have different films to offer the audience. It could be a reason and the driving factor for the senior heroes to move ahead.
