After spending more than three weeks in jail, Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was released today. The star kid came out of the Arthur Road Jail today morning and proceeded back to his home in his father’s car. With Aryan’s return to home, the celebrations are on rise at Shah Rukh’s residence Mannat.
The Bombay High Court granted bail to Aryan and two others – Arbaaz Merchantt and Munmun Dhamecha on Thursday. They were arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection with a drug-racket case that was busted in a cruise ship in Mumbai earlier this month.
Aryan was supposed to be released yesterday but his bail papers didn’t reach the Arthur Road Jail by the deadline of 05.30 PM and thus, he had to spend another night in prison.
The bail conditions imposed on Aryan Khan include the prohibition of leaving the country without prior permission of the NDPS court. He was also asked to surrender his passport to the court.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh’s house Mannat was lit up last night, ahead of Aryan’s release. The entire family is relieved after a stressful month of legal proceedings.
Mannat is expected to have festivities for the next few days due to Aryan Khan’s release, Shah Rukh’s birthday (November 2) and Diwali (November 4).
