CBN-Daggubati Meeting: The meeting between political arch-rivals has created a sensation among people and social media! Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Daggubati Venkateswara Rao, who are co-brothers and political friends, later turned into strong rivals, met at a private function in Hyderabad recently and this led to speculations all across. Are they are patching up their differences and joining hands to take on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy?
The meeting between Chandrababu Naidu and Daggubati was not just a feast for shutterbugs but also for all the people. Many were surprised and all the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) lovers were happy. The TDP cadre believes that it was patch that has been initiated by TDP MLA and film star Balakrishna! If this is true then the political rivalry between the two seems to have been shelved.
Both the leaders Chandrababu Naidu and Daggubati were sons-in-law of erstwhile film star and CM NT Rama Rao. They both were involved in a rebellion against NTR while he was the CM and succeeded in pulling NTR out of power. Chandrababu Naidu became the CM and Daggubati continued in his team. Later they both had political differences and split ways.
After parting ways both never had much of contact, especially in public forum. It was mostly Chandrababu Naidu who used make way out of the public gatherings much before the arrival od Daggubati. But for a change, they both came in front of one another, met and spent long time together at the marriage function of NTR’s granddaughter.
Interestingly, Chandrababu Naidu and Daggubati Venkateswara Rao were seen exchanging pleasantries while the TDP chief’s wife Bhuvaneshwari was seen with Daggubati’s wife Purandeshwari (in fact they both are sisters).
This fresh meeting between the two has raised scope for speculations among the people and media. It is being said that Chandrababu Naidu was ready to go to any extent to defeat Jagan in the next elections and for this he wants to have Nandamuri’s clan all together and help him see through the polls in 2024.
