Big Blow: Ravindra Jadeja is a star all-rounder for Team India across all three formats. He is an exceptional batter, bowler and fielder and proved his talent in Tests, ODI and T20 cricket. Now, it is being heard that Jadeja is planning to retire from Test cricket.

Big Blow
Reportedly, Jadeja wants to quit Tests in order to prolong his ODI and T20I career. Jadeja has been getting injured a lot during the Test series in the recent past. Last year, Jaddu got injured during the series against Australia.
Recently, he got injured during the Kanpur Test match and missed out on the second Test against New Zealand which was held in Mumbai. Apparently, he had a serious injury and thus, he is rested from the upcoming series against South Africa. It is also being reported that Jadeja may miss the series against Sri Lanka as well, which is scheduled to be held early next year. Mostly, we may see him in action again in IPL 2022.
Due to the injury concerns, the star cricketer is planning to retire from Test cricket, say the reports. He wants to play the upcoming 2023 World Cup and 2024 T20 World Cup as well. Hence, the 33-year-old is planning to take a rest from the Tests and only focus on the shorter formats. In the 56 Tests he played until now, Jadeja scored 2145 runs and scalped 223 wickets.
