Aryan Khan: Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan had a sigh of relief in his ongoing drug-racket case. The Bombay High Court stated that there is no evidence of a conspiracy between Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, and Munmun Dhamecha regarding any drugs.
The court further added that there is nothing objectionable in their WhatsApp conversations. The court’s order read, “There is hardly any positive evidence on record to convince this Court that all the accused persons with common intention agreed to commit unlawful act.”
“Merely because Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, and Munmun Dhamecha were travelling in the same cruise, that by itself cannot be a foundation for the charge of conspiracy against them,” the order further read.
The Bombay High Court also stated that the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) cannot depend on the alleged confessional statements recorded by the investigating officer as they are not binding.
Aryan Khan was arrested by the NCB officials on October 3 during a drug raid that happened on a cruise ship in Mumbai. He was put in jail for three weeks and was granted bail in the last week of October.
Along with Aryan, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha were also granted bail. However, all three of them have been offered conditional bail and are not completely free from the case yet.
