Dhanush: Ever since it was announced, Dhanush’s Sir has been facing quite a few hurdles. Earlier, it was rumoured that heroine Samyuktha Menon walked out from the project. However, the makers denied it and proved that she is indeed a part of the film. Now, another member walked out of the film. This time, the team member officially announced the news.
We are talking about the film’s cinematographer Dinesh Krishnan. The cinematographer officially announced that he is walking out of the project. “It is unfortunate that I couldn’t be a part of @dhanushkraja’s #vaathi #SIRmovie Hoping to work soon with @Fortune4Cinemas @SitharaEnts @vamsi84 #venkyatluri #covid,” tweeted Dinesh the other day.

Though he didn’t mention the reason behind its exit, the word ‘COVID’ in his tweet is hinting that the virus might be a reason for his walk-out. Recently, Dhanush was tested positive for the COVID-19 and is under isolation right now. The shoot has been halted as the actor is under quarantine now. It has been less than a month since Sir went on floors but already, it started facing a lot of troubles. We have to see how many more hurdles the film faces in the coming days.
Sir is being directed by Venky Atluri. It is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual film. The Tamil version has been titled ‘Vaathi’. It marks Dhanush’s debut in Telugu.
