Icon Star Allu Arjun
Icon Star Allu Arjun: Before becoming the Icon Star, Allu Arjun had announced a movie titled Icon. Venu Sriram is the director of it and Dil Raju is the producer. This movie was announced almost two years ago but is yet to hit the floors. It has been failing to go onto the sets due to several reasons. If the latest grapevine is anything to go by, the movie has been shelved completely.
For the last few months, it was reported that Allu Arjun will shoot for Icon between Pushpa Part: 1 and Pushpa Part: 2. However, it is now being heard that the actor is planning to launch a film with Boyapati Srinu after the release of Pushpa’s first part and complete it before starting the shoot of Pushpa’s second part.
Both Boyapati and Allu Arjun had earlier worked together for the 2016 film Sarrainodu. They are holding talks for another collaboration for a long time. Finally, it looks like Arjun decided to go with Boyapati instead of Venu Sriram. As per the sources, Boyapati will start working on this film as soon as he wraps up the works of his upcoming release Akhanda.
It is being heard that Allu Arjun is unhappy with how Icon’s script is shaping up. It seems that he asked Venu to make some changes but was not satisfied with them. Eventually, he seems to have decided to shelve it completely. It is also being rumoured that Allu Arjun may officially announce the news of shelving Icon in one of his upcoming events, to avoid fans getting into further confusion about the film’s status.
