Akhanda: Nandamuri Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu’s Akhanda had hit the screens a couple of days ago and is having a dream run at the box office. After Simha and Legend, the duo scored a hat-trick with this movie. Compared to their previous two films, there is a high violence quotient in Akhanda.

Boyapati Srinu and Balakrishna
Some of the scenes were so disturbing to watch as well. One of those scenes is where Srikanth comes to Poorna’s house to warn her and rapes her in front of her little son.
Boyapati might have written this scene to explain the trauma that Poorna faces after this incident and also incorporates it well later in the scene where Srikanth gets killed.
But viewers, especially family audiences, felt a little uncomfortable while watching the scene of a mother getting raped in front of her son.
Some of the audiences felt that the director should have written the scene in some other way because that particular scene can carry the emotional depth with a few other narratives as well.
There are many ways to show the villain’s cruelty and thus, people felt that Boyapati have chosen another way to convey his intention. Apart from that particular sequence, Akhanda largely remains a clean flick and is doing exceptionally well at the box office.
