Thalaiva Rajinikanth said that October 25 is very special to him for two reasons. He said that he is going to receive the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in New Delhi on October 25 and another reason is that his second daughter Soundarya Vishagan is going to launch a new app titled Hoote and it will have the voice of Rajinikanth.
Rajinikanth spoke with the media on October 24 in front of his Poes Garden house in Chennai. He said that he is going to take the Dadasaheb Phalke award but feels sad because his guru K Balachander is not alive to see him taking the award.
Rajinikanth shared a statement in Tamil and English explaining why October 25 is a special day for him.
His statement read, “Tomorrow (October 25) is an important occasion for me with two special landmarks. One, Dadasaheb Phalke award, being conferred upon me by the Government of India because of the love and support of the people.”
The statement read, “Second, my daughter Soundarya Vishagan, by her independent efforts has pioneered the making of a very useful app for people called “HOOTE” and she is going to introduce it to the world from India. People can now express through their voice their thoughts, wishes, and ideas just like they do in writing in any language of their choice. I am very happy to launch this innovative, useful, and the first of its kind the “HOOTE APP” in my voice.”
In April 2021, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar announced Rajinikanth is going to be honoured with Dadasaheb Phalke Award. The award ceremony was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.Rajinikanh
